Who are our boat guides?

  • Like most southern boys, each began hunting and fishing at an early age, and each has a deep love and appreciation of this unique environment. All of them are expert airboat captains certified by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Can we tip?

  • Yes, it is appropriate to tip the  tour guides. Tips will have to be in the form of cash.  We will not be able to charge a credit card for a tip. If your guide really works hard and you think he gave a great tour, let him know how much you appreciate it!

What should I wear?

  • Comfortable, casual attire based on weather conditions is recommended.  We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses and/ or hats for people who are sensitive to sun exposure.

Are there any restrictions to who can ride on the boats?

  • Children under the age of 2 are not allowed and children must be capable of sitting up unassisted as no carriers are permitted. No persons with serious medical issues to be permitted (ex. back injuries, neck injuries, late term pregnancy, etc.).

Are the mosquitoes a problem?

  • When you are on the airboat, there will be a nice breeze to keep the bugs away. Around our facility, depending on the time of day and time of the year, there may be a few pesky bugs. Don’t worry though, it is no more than what is present in your backyard.

Can I bring my pet with me?

  • Pets or service animals are not allowed on airboats. This is due to the noise that is created from the moving airboat. To protect your human ears, hearing protection is provided. Service animals are allowed on the dolphin tour boat.

Will we see wildlife?

  • Because these are wild animals, we cannot guarantee any sightings.  We strive to make the boat ride as exciting and fun as possible, so that the wildlife sightings are an added bonus.
